I was born in a little city near Milano in 1978 and I fell in love with photography at age 22. I received diploma in Professional Photography at the “Istituto Italiano di Fotografia” in 2002 and I worked as assistant in a Photography advertising studio in Milan.
In 2004, pushed by a deep passion for human conditions, I started to travel to the East Europe, Africa and the South America to document the activities of some Italian NGO’s working in those regions.
In 2009 I moved to Pakistan and I lived there until 2011. I worked for some international NGO’s to cover the water flood consequences of 2010 and on a project about the social and political situation of the country.
At the end of 2012 I moved to Jerusalem until June 2015. Here I collaborated with Corbis as a freelance news pho- tographer covering daily issues in Israel and Palestinian Territories.
I currently based in Italy working on personal projects.

The documentary investigation is the area of interest in my work. My first experience with documentary photography has been connected with the “humanitarian world”, focusing on the daily life of people who, through their activity, found a way to face their difficulties.
Later, I’ve been more concerned with conflicts, documenting, through long term projects and news, the political and social conditions of the countries I visited and, for some period, I lived. My photography has been concentrated on the roles of the victims in conflicts, on the weak part of populations that was more vulnerable.
Now my research is focused on finding a balance between personal aesthetic research and contents. Starting from a documentary background, I left traditional view to focus more on a conceptual vision, apparently less emotional, but with more symbolic value.
